Crawford was seriously injured along the Interstate 70 exit ramp when a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo collided with the back side of her vehicle. After impact, the Chevrolet left the roadway and struck a 41-year-old St. Louis man. Crawford was badly hurt in the crash and transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
