59-Year-Old Richard Smith Killed In Glenn, CA AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on March 14th in Glenn, California. 59-year-old Richard Smith lost his life in a collision with a tractor-trailer near the intersection of County Roads 7 and 99W. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 18-wheeler, driven by Vernon McGuire, was headed north when he turned into the path of the Nissan which was traveling southbound. The truck crashed into the left-front side of the Nissan, causing the car to veer into a power pole. Smith tragically succumbed to injuries from the crash. CHP continues to investigate the collision.
