59-Year-Old Howard Lyons Killed in San Antonio, TX Accident

Man struck by train while chasing his dog

A tragic accident occurred on November 13 in San Antonio, TX, when 59-year-old Howard Lyons was struck by a train near the 8200 block of Interchange Parkway and Fratt Road. Lyons had been chasing his dog on the tracks when the train hit both of them around 5:20 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The dog was injured and taken into custody by Animal Care Services.
