59-Year-Old Rose Banks Killed in Oakland, CA Accident

Hit-and-run near Bancroft Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on July 7 in Oakland, California, when 59-year-old Rose Marie Banks was struck and killed in a hit-and-run. Around 10 p.m., she was walking in a marked crosswalk near Bancroft and 82nd Avenue when an unknown vehicle hit her and fled. Banks died from her injuries at a nearby hospital.
