59-Year-Old Robert James Lambert Killed in Bakersfield, CA Accident

Pedestrian fatally struck by two vehicles on Baker Street

A tragic accident occurred on February 22 in Bakersfield, California, when 59-year-old Robert James Lambert was fatally struck by two vehicles in the 700 block of Baker Street. A northbound Chevrolet truck hit Lambert as he walked in the roadway, and he was then struck by a southbound Nissan sedan. He was transported to Kern Medical, where he died about an hour later. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
