59-Year-Old Jill Lanto Killed in Hayward, CA Accident

Struck by SUV while crossing Mission Boulevard in marked crosswalk

A tragic accident occurred on February 17 in Hayward when 59-year-old Jill Lanto was fatally struck by an Acura SUV while crossing Mission Boulevard in a crosswalk. She was transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The investigation continues.
