A tragic accident occurred on August 8 in Merced County, California, when 59-year-old Emeterio Cuevas Sr. was killed in an off-road accident near Mercey Hot Springs. According to the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, a modified Jeep rolled backward while climbing a hill and overturned, ejecting all three occupants. Cuevas was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered major injuries and another passenger was also injured. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
