A tragic accident occurred on November 24 in Lancaster, California, when 59-year-old Charlotte Worthey was fatally struck by a vehicle. Authorities said Worthey was walking across Avenue I near Kingtree Avenue around 5:14 p.m. when a silver Honda SUV hit her and fled the scene. She later died at a hospital.
