58-Year-Old Valerie Martinez Killed In Hayward, CA Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, February 13 in Hayward, California. 58-year-old Valerie Martinez was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident along Huntwood Avenue near Zephyr Avenue. The victim had been walking between two lanes when a vehicle, described as a light colored 2005 Ford Explorer, struck the pedestrian before fleeing the scene.  The accident remains under investigation and anyone with information should call Hayward‘s Police Traffic Bureau at 510-293-7099.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
