58-Year-Old Teresa Weers Killed in Richland, WA Accident

Semi-truck collision at Duportail Street intersection

A tragic accident occurred on June 19 in Richland, Washington, when 58-year-old Teresa J. Weers was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV at the intersection of Highway 240 bypass and Duportail Street at about 8:30 p.m. Authorities said a semi-truck failed to stop and struck her Subaru Outback. Weers died from her injuries, while her 8-year-old granddaughter was injured and taken to hospital. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
