Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, May 7 at around 5:30 PM in Robeson, North Carolina. 58-year-old Carolyn Locklear was tragically struck and killed by an SUV that fled the scene after the collision. The victim was struck on Old Lowery Road in Red Springs between the Thunder Valley Racetrack and the Sun-do. The suspect is believed to have been traveling in a white compact SUV. The crash remains under investigation by the North Carolina Highway Patrol, who is actively pursuing the hit and run driver. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
