57-Year-Old Rayford Howard Killed in Harris County, TX Accident

Man struck while crossing Woodforest Boulevard

A tragic accident occurred on Feb. 20 in Harris County, when 57-year-old Rayford Howard was killed in a hit-and-run on Woodforest Boulevard near Normandy Street. Howard was struck while crossing the street and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 17-year-old Benjamin Lira, was arrested and charged with failure to stop and render aid. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
