57-Year-Old William Taylor Killed in Hemet, CA Accident

Man in motorized wheelchair struck by suspected DUI driver

A tragic accident occurred on July 10 in Hemet, California, when 57-year-old William Taylor was struck by a vehicle while using a motorized wheelchair near Garfield Avenue and Menlo Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. Taylor was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
