A tragic accident occurred on January 5 in Lakeland Village, California, when 57-year-old Danielle Leveque was struck by a 2010 Toyota Prius while crossing Grand Avenue at Stoneman Street. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was uninjured and remained at the scene. Authorities continue investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
