This is breaking news task and I’m Stephanie Taylor we have breaking news of a tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 13 at 4:44 PM in Bloomington Minnesota. 56-year-old Richard Bethune was seriously injured in a four vehicle crash along interstate 35 west. According to a report from the Minnesota state patrol Mr. Bethune jeep was stalled in the left lane beneath the 90th St. bridge when a Ford swerved at the last second to avoid the vehicle, but clipped the right side. A Chevy Tahoe then rear ended the stalled jeep and struck Mr. Bethune, who had at that time exited the vehicle. A Ford F150 was also sideswiped by the swerving vehicles. Mr. Bethune suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The Minnesota state police reported that there was snow and ice on the roadway at the time of the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
