56-Year-Old Russell Lister Killed in Brentwood, CA DUI Accident

Motorcyclist struck by suspected impaired driver at intersection

A tragic accident occurred on July 27 in Brentwood, California, when 56-year-old Russell Lister was fatally struck by a suspected DUI driver. Lister had stopped his motorcycle at the intersection of Sellers Avenue and Chestnut Street around 2 a.m. when a northbound vehicle slammed into him from behind. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was arrested on a felony DUI charge. Anyone with information is urged to call Brentwood Police at 925-634-6911. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
