A tragic accident occurred on January 9 in Santa Ana, California, when 55-year-old Sabrina Michelle Duran, a wheelchair user, was struck by a vehicle around 6:30 p.m. on North Grand Avenue. The driver initially fled but later returned. Duran died from her injuries at a local hospital. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
