55-Year-Old Luis G. Jimenez Rodriguez Killed in Kent, WA Accident

Man fatally struck by vehicle; driver arrested on suspected DUI

A tragic accident occurred on July 18 in Kent, Washington, when 55-year-old Luis G. Jimenez Rodriguez was struck by a vehicle while crossing Pacific Highway South near South 236th Street at about 9:40 p.m. Rodriguez died from multiple blunt force injuries. Authorities said the 35-year-old driver was arrested for investigation of DUI-marijuana and first-degree negligent driving with a vulnerable user. The accident remains under investigation.
