A tragic accident occurred on April 4 in Delano, California, when 55-year-old Joel Salomon Sanchez Perez was killed after a wrong-way Tesla Model X collided with a Nissan Frontier on Highway 99 near Ninth Avenue. Another passenger and the driver of the Nissan sustained major injuries, while four others had minor injuries. Authorities arrested the Tesla driver on DUI suspicion.
