55-Year-Old Jamey Dotts Killed in Stevens County, WA Accident

Man dies in head-on collision with garbage truck

A tragic accident occurred on July 28 in Stevens County, Washington, when 55-year-old Jamey Dotts was traveling in a Chrysler PT Cruiser that crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a garbage truck on U.S. Highway 395 near Chewelah. Dotts was pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant of the Chrysler also died. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
