55-Year-Old Cipriano Valdovinos Pio Killed in Kent, WA Accident

Hit-and-run under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on December 13 in Kent when 55-year-old Cipriano Valdovinos Pio was struck by a vehicle on State Route 516 near Meeker Street around 11:46 p.m. Authorities said the driver fled the scene after the collision. Pio, a Kent resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Washington State Patrol continues to investigate the hit-and-run. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
