Man dies after disabled car struck by semi-truck

A tragic accident occurred on July 27 in Corona, California, when 55-year-old Santos Nunez Lopez's Honda Accord became disabled in the eastbound lanes of the Riverside (91) Freeway near Lincoln Avenue. Despite activating the vehicle's hazard lights, a semi-truck struck the car. Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
