54-Year-Old Duan Travis Injured In Vandalia, IL Accident

William Free involved in Interstate 70 accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, February 11th in Vandalia, Illinois. 54-year-old Duan Travis is recovering from serious injuries suffered when his vehicle was struck from behind on Interstate 70. Travis was struck by 36-year-old William N. Free, while traveling west on the highway near milepost 85. Mr. Free was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash, and Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance. Mr. Travis was airlifted to a regional hospital.
