54-Year-Old David Hadd Injured In Northumberland, NY Accident

Motorcycle accident on State Route 32

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, September 24 at around 5:41 PM in Northumberland, New York. 54-year-old David Hadd was seriously injured after he was struck by a drunk driver on State Route 32. 51-year-old Michael Brownell was operating a Ford when he crossed over the centerline and struck the victims BMW Motorcycle. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid and was later arrested and faces multiple charges, including felony counts of second-degree assault. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
