Two-vehicle collision on San Mateo Bridge

A tragic accident occurred on January 14 in San Mateo, California, when 54-year-old Mary Hurtado Duran was killed in a collision on the San Mateo Bridge. Authorities said Duran’s Kia sedan stalled just before 3 p.m. and was struck by a Ford Transit van driven by a distracted driver. Duran was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
