A tragic accident occurred on February 4 in Balboa Park, California, when 54-year-old Mario Anthony Muniz was struck by a van on Interstate 5 near Sixth Avenue around 9:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries.
