Passenger Dies in Crash on Highway 233

A tragic accident occurred on August 18 in Madera County, California, when 53-year-old Maria Iniguez of Merced was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 233 at Robertson Boulevard and Avenue 22. The crash happened around 8:40 a.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 19-year-old veered into the northbound lanes, striking a BMW. Iniguez, a passenger, died at the scene.
