53-Year-Old Jean Zihalirwa Killed In Abilene, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday June 2nd at around 6:00 AM in Abilene, Texas. 53-year-old Jean Paul Zihalirwa was tragically killed in a two vehicle crash near the 5300 block of S. 1st St. The victim was turning left in his Honda Odyssey, when a westbound Toyota Tacoma struck the Honda on the driver side. The driver of the Tacoma was identified as 24-year-old Skylar Karnas. The victim sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
