Pedestrian struck on Vermont Avenue; suspect remains at large

A tragic accident occurred on March 27 in East Hollywood, California, when 52-year-old Tommie Simpson III was struck by a light-colored sedan while crossing North Vermont Avenue near Eighth Street. Authorities said the driver fled the scene and later crashed into another vehicle. Simpson III was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to search for the suspect.
