According to the Georgia State Patrol Deana Morgan had her Volkswagen Beetle stopped in the emergency lane and was attempting to re-enter the right lane. That was when the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado struck her car, causing both vehicles to cross into the left lane and crash into the median. Morgan was tragically killed in the collision.
