A tragic accident occurred on November 1 in Rancho Cordova, California, when 52-year-old Cory Donald Swope was struck by a vehicle in the 11000 block of Folsom Boulevard. Emergency crews responded, but he sadly died at the scene. The driver involved remained and cooperated with authorities. The crash is under investigation.
