51-Year-Old Marcos Sanchez Killed In Palestine, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 12 in Palestine, Texas. 51-year-old Marcos Sanchez was fatally struck by an allegedly drunk driver along Crockett Road. A 2021 blue Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck was traveling north when the driver crossed into the oncoming traffic, striking Marcos Sanchez. Witness reports indicate that Sanchez was taking his trash out to the curb at the time of the collision. Tragically, Sanchez died due to injuries sustained in the crash. The Ram driver, Dillon Wayne Fogle, was arrested on charges of intoxication manslaughter, and unlawfully carrying a weapon, police said. Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
