51-Year-Old Connie Werner Killed In Amarillo, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 25 in Amarillo, Texas. 51-year-old Connie Werner died in a crash involving a Ford F-150 and a Hyundai Tucson on State Loop 335. The wreck occurred when a 49-year-old Amarillo man was driving a Ford F-150 north on State Loop 335 and pulled onto the shoulder. He made an unsafe U-turn on the downhill side of the bridge. The Ford went into the path of a Hyundai Tucson driven by Connie Werner. Werner tried to avoid the driver by swerving left into the southbound lane but couldn't avoid the collision.
