A tragic accident occurred on April 21 in Kent, Washington, when 50-year-old Vicente Islas Gomez was struck by a vehicle while crossing Central Avenue South. The incident occurred around 8:47 p.m. as Gomez crossed from the middle turn lane into the southbound lane. He died from injuries at the scene.
