50-Year-Old Tony Vinson Killed In Greensboro, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 24th in Greensboro, North Carolina. 50-year-old Tony Hester Vinson was tragically killed in a wrong-way crash on I-40  near the South Elm-Eugene Street exit. The victim was the driver of Ford Thunderbird westbound on the interstate when it was hit by a 2004 GMC Envoy.Greensboro police said that the GMC driver, 50-year-old William Junior Grimes Greensboro, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the interstate, causing the two-vehicle to collide head-on. Vinson was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
