50-Year-Old Robert Piper Killed In Independence, MO Accident

Crash near Interstate 70

Tragic accident that occurred on November 6 in Independence, Missouri.  50-year-old Roberto Piper was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 70 near Lee’s Summit Road. Piper exited his vehicle to provide assistance to the victim involved in the crash, and that is when he was tragically struck by another car. Piper of Blue Springs was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
