Woman dies after hit-and-run crash at Corvallis Street intersection

A tragic accident occurred on May 11 in San Leandro, California, when 50-year-old Andrea Sanchez was involved in a collision at Corvallis Street and Dartmouth Avenue. Authorities said a speeding Mercedes-Benz collided with her Kia while attempting to pass other vehicles. Sanchez died from her injuries. The driver fled the scene but was later arrested and booked into jail. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
