5-Year-Old Kylie Jones Killed In Wilton Manners, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 27th in Wilton Manners, Florida.  Five-year-old Kylie Jones was tragically killed after being struck by a hit and run driver on Northwest Ninth Drive outside an apartment building. According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Sean Greer was driving southbound and approaching a Broward County public transit bus that had stopped to drop off a passenger. Greer didn't allow the bus to merge and instead tried to speed around it, driving up onto the sidewalk where he hit multiple children, before fleeing. Greer was later apprehended and confessed to the hit-and-run. He faces several charges, including two counts of leaving the scene of an accident involving death, tampering with evidence and driving with a suspended license. He is also on probation for burglary of a dwelling in Broward County. The young victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
