A tragic accident occurred on July 10 in Cathedral City, California, when 49-year-old Miguel Macias was killed in a crash involving a big-rig. Around 6:47 a.m., a tractor-trailer lost control on westbound I-10, overturned, crossed the median, and collided with the vehicle Macias was in. He died at the scene.
