49-Year-Old Daniel Vargas Injured in Brazoria County, TX Accident

Alleged DUI crash reported on FM 1462

A tragic accident occurred on January 20 in Brazoria County, Texas, when 49-year-old Daniel Romon Vargas of Rosharon was seriously injured in a suspected DUI crash on Farm-to-Market Road 1462 near County Road 121. Vargas was a passenger in a Lincoln Navigator that overturned in a ditch. He was transported to HCA Clear Lake Hospital. The driver, 27-year-old Damian Rene Enriquez III, faces intoxication assault charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
