49-Year-Old Alverta Dunbar Killed in Harvard Heights, CA Accident

Suspected DUI crash on West Gage Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on June 22 in Harvard Heights, California, when 49-year-old Alverta Dunbar was killed in a suspected DUI multi-vehicle crash shortly after 12:40 a.m. Authorities said an impaired driver struck multiple vehicles before colliding with Dunbar's car near Normandie Avenue. She died from injuries sustained in the crash. Police said the driver is suspected of being under the influence. The investigation remains ongoing.
