Ross was killed after a fleeing Mini Cooper plunged off the Edmonds ferry dock during a police chase. Around 11:10 p.m., troopers attempted to stop the speeding vehicle, which reached over 100 mph before driving off the dock into the water. Ross and another passenger died at the scene. Three others, including the driver, were seriously injured.
