48-Year-Old Amanda Tamez Killed In Alice, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 10 in Alice, Texas. 48-year-old Amanda Tamez sadly died when the car that she was a passenger in was struck by another vehicle after allegedly running a stop sign at State Highway 44 and State Highway 359. The Corolla was hit on the driver's side by a Dodge Charger. Tamez was rushed to Christus Spohn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
