A tragic accident occurred on August 25 in Woodland, California, when 48-year-old Simona Palauni was struck by a pickup truck while riding a bicycle. The collision happened around 3 p.m. on East Main Street near Industrial Way, according to Woodland Police. Palauni was rushed to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
