A tragic accident occurred on July 1 in Fresno, California, when 48-year-old Albert Gomez was struck and killed while crossing the northbound lanes of Highway 41 near Tulare Street at about 5 p.m. Authorities said a Dodge truck hit Gomez, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
