47-Year-Old Veronica Deleon Injured In Islip, NY Accident

Wreck on Union Boulevard

Tragic accident that occurred on December 25th in Islip, New York. 47-year-old  Veronica Deleon, was one of two victims run down by an intoxicated, underage driver on Union Boulevard between Saxon Avenue and Grant Avenue on Christmas day. According to Suffolk County Police, a Honda Pilot left the roadway opposite the High School striking the victim who  was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore with major injuries. The driver was taken into custody by authorities and charged with driving while intoxicated.
