47-Year-Old Tonya Pannell Injured In Marion, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, March 1st in Marion, Illinois. 47-year-old Tonya Pannell was injured when her van was rear-ended by an SUV along U.S. Route 51. A gold 2002 Buick SUV, driven by Jason Ashford  failed to slow when the victim's Chrysler ran out of gas and attempted to coast to the shoulder. That is when the vehicle and the SUV collided with the rear of the van. Both drivers were transported to an area hospital for treatment. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
