47-Year-Old Robert Rivas Killed In Bakersfield, CA Accident

Two vehicle wreck along California and Union Avenues

Tragic accident that occurred on June 3rd in Bakersfield, California. 47-year-old Robert Rivas lost his life in a two-vehicle collision at California and Union Avenues. Rivas was driving a pick-up truck when a collision occurred with a Sedan.  Rivas suffered major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical where he later sadly succumbed. The crash remains under investigation by BPD's Major Collision Investigations team. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
