Two Juveniles Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident

A tragic accident occurred on October 10 in La Quinta, California, when 47-year-old Jose Villegas Orbe, allegedly driving under the influence, struck two juveniles riding their bicycles across Highway 111 near Adams Street. The crash happened around 9 p.m., leaving both victims seriously injured and hospitalized. Orbe fled the scene but was later arrested and booked into the John Benoit Detention Center.
