Pickup driver dies in tractor-trailer crash

A tragic accident occurred on September 23 in Midland, Texas, when 46-year-old Daniel Lee Barrientez Jr. of San Angelo was killed in a tractor-trailer crash. The collision happened around 6 a.m. on State Highway 158 at FM 1379 after a Mack truck failed to yield, causing Barrientez’s pickup to strike the trailer. Sadly, he died at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
